I am a learning technology and development professional with 22+ years of experience — the last 16 fully remote — designing and developing end-to-end engaging digital learning experiences, eLearning, learning portals, interactive learning tools, and websites. I have a proven ability to turn complex learning requirements into intuitive digital experiences.

Designed and developed eLearning courses and digital learning tools, bringing together a web design background, instructional design principles, and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline. Built 15+ Storyline learning portals to provide centralized and streamlined program experiences, an xAPI/LRS data layer with custom dashboards, and a learning game featured at DevLearn and on Articulate’s E-Learning Blog. Adopted generative AI and AI-assisted coding to speed development, and administered the SAP SuccessFactors LMS.
Led multimedia development for a swine-industry training company: 200+ eLearning courses (Authorware, Lectora, Flash, plus video, audio, and graphic design) and the company websites, supervising a small development team.

Ken is that rare instructional design professional who combines deep adult learning knowledge with technical and programming skills. He is tenacious and ingenious in extending authoring tools to do more than they were designed to do, and deeply engaged in building the best learning experience possible — colleagues and clients alike love to work with him. Ken is the kind of worker that managers dream of having on their team.
Ken’s expertise combining code with the built-in functions of Articulate Storyline, together with his instructional design skills, was critical to a large-scale learning game we co-developed — one ultimately translated into 13 languages and deployed globally. That success earned us the trust to build other advanced projects, including a learning portal that fundamentally changed how the company delivers training. He is one of the most well-rounded people I’ve worked with, able to run a project start to finish as either manager or practitioner.
Ken is an immensely talented instructional designer, eLearning developer, and overall web and LMS guru, with a great eye for user experience design. He stays more on top of emerging trends and technology in the field than anyone else I know, and built several Storyline learning portals that give employees a clean, easy-to-navigate experience. Aside from his technical expertise, he’s a great teammate with a problem-solving mindset who was always willing to help.
